Playstyle Name Explanation Important Notes Prominent Heroes
Cleave Characters are typically very squishy, but have lots of speed and damage to quickly dominate your opponent. A high risk high reward playstyle. This is where the notoriously rare SPD rolls come in handy. Easily the hardest playstyle to be able to get working, but oh so satisfying when it works.
Eternal Wanderer Ludwig
Frida
Sea Phantom Politis
Standard This playstyle has a good balance of damage and sustain. Nothing too special about these teams. Mostly made up of characters under the “bruiser” category, which are decently tanky and self sustainable but still have good damage
Tori
Diene
Landy
Tank Down Also been nicknamed “Turtle Meta” for its slow and drawn out playstyle. Low damage, but can easily sustain through enemy attacks and eventually come out on top. This playstyle has been heavily favored by the devs recently. The safest playstyle to pick up when new to the PVP scene.
Empyrean Ilynav
Boss Arunka
Albedo
Control The goal is overwhelming the enemy team with stuns and debuffs, making them essentially unable to play the game. Requires high SPD and EFF with some extra praying to RNGesus. A dying playstyle. This playstyle hasn't been favored in the meta for a while because of the abundance of cleansers, high EFF RES units, and the infamous 15% rule.
Death Dealer Ray
Silver Blade Aramintha
Solitaria of the Snow
